Sylvanas Windrunner still worth it?

recent patch changed it to 6 mana , shes still a strong card but is it as viable as before? , thinkin of swithing it to a tinkmaster for more aggressive removal

still viable, you can run both in your deck since they are both very good

A 5/5 minion with that deathrattle is still a pretty strong card for 6 mana.

The nerf changes NOTHING about Sylvanas

I agree with the prior posts. She went up by 1 mana and although that makes her a turn later she is still very strong. She still causes the other player to go out of their way to deal with her before they can continue.

The only thing that is different about this card is the removal of combos. You can no longer Sylvanas + Brawl, which is one of the stronger plays with it, because you cannot lose that Brawl, really.

Definitely agree. You should still expect to see her quite often!

I dusted her and am going to just sit on the dust until I see what the new meta is really going to look like. There are decks which do fine without her, so Ill just play those.

The only one I’m struggling a bit with the increase is in my control Warlock, since that’s often the Siphon Soul turn. I think this has more to do with just getting the used to it than a “throw it out of the deck.”

You can still Sylvanas - Shadowflame in one turn for 10 which doesnt interfere with jaraxxus on turn 9 anymore etc. For me it’s just a shift in the mana curve, not quite a nerf

Absolutely. I just meant that my discomfort was likely due getting used to it in this particular class and archetype, whereas I noticed very little difference in playstyle in the other two classes I primarily run.

Saying a 5 to 6 mana change is not a nerf for sylvanas is like insisting a 4 mana harvest golem is nearly as strong as the 3 mana one, which obviously is not the case.

The change to Sylvanas doesn’t really make her worse as much as it did make other Legendaries better, if that makes sense. Cairne Bloodhoof is a VERY strong card now. She’s more in line with how a Legendary should feel, in my opinion.
