Another noob needs crafting advice

I would definitly craft alex. You will get value from her instantly after playing her and she still fits few other decks. Ysera is more, lets say flexible, but you need more then one turn to get sth from her and still it can be minion 3/5 which isnt the best at round 10. So for me Alex is much better for you, unless you want to try sth more aggro then you should think about leeroy. Oh and you forget about tinkmaster its always good in control decks, especially against other control.

Depending on how competitive you want to go with your HS career I’d go for Ysera because as you said she is very very versatile in a lot of decks. If you like aggro decks as well (especially Rogue ones) you might want to consider Leeroy Jenkins as well (combined with Shadow Step he is just awesome).

Ysera is getting less and less played nowadays because of her very slow nature.
