Week 3

As other tournaments are closing their doors we found a lot of success in our second week and decided to kept the 32 player format for week 3! On Friday Root EggY and I ran the third Golden Egg Weekly with players from DKMR, Managrind, MYM as well as other rising stars who entered for a chance at the prize pool along with an invite to the Golden Egg Main Event in the coming weeks.

We streamed the entire tournament live and with DKMR DaLighzic’s help as admin we were able to schedule matches so that we could cast 2 games per round as well as many of the bracket stage matches!

Format

We started with 32 players on the NA Server in a SWISS style B01 series and after 5 rounds of play the 32 players were cut down to the top 8. The top 8 played in BO3’s to move forward and ultimately the finalists played a BO5 for the championship!

Results & Prizes

After 5 rounds of SWISS play the top 8 played BO3’s and the players were whittled down to the finals where Fr0zen played against the 17 year old Singaporean player KeroamE or Kero in a BO5.
