When Hearthstone was announced (at PAX East?) I was pretty excited. You see, before StarCraft, I was actually a Magic: The Gathering player. I started playing right around 5th Edition / Weatherlight, and really got into it very quickly.

Artosis casts the 3rd weekly King of the Hill match between last week's winner Gnimsh and this week's challenger Nyhx, in a best of 7 matchup. We tried a simpler layout for the actual stream this time, and people seemed to like it quite a bit. As we keep garnering experience over the weeks, your feedback and opinions have definitely helped to shape the KOTH - and we definitely would like to see more of that!

The Hearthstone competitors did so much behind the scenes to prepare for this tournament I thought it would be of interest to the community to hear their perspective on this trial run for Hearthstone as a competitive game suited for tournaments.

In this first big tournament on stage for Hearthstone, there were some absolutely amazing moments throughout the entire tournament - the buzz of Blizzcon, the excitement that was palpable through the stream and on a personal note...having a friend on stage, representing IHEARTHU.com in some down to the wire games was really thrilling.

Those who purchased either a physical or virtual ticket for Blizzcon are rewarded with the Tauren Elite Chieftain card! You can still earn it however by building it with 1600 Arcane Dust in the Collection Manager.

In a big shock during the Blizzcon opening ceremony, it was officially announced and confirmed that Blizzard will not only be developing Hearthstone for the iPad but also for the iPhone and Android platforms. This is a really amazing development and something many community members have been commenting on.
