A Post UTH Nerf Tournament - The Golden Egg Weekly #1 Grand Finals with Decklists!

New Tournament

This past Friday May 9th Root EggY ran the first of his Golden Egg Weekly Tournaments. This tournament took place after the patch that nerfed the Unleash The Hounds and added a timer to ALL games and we believe this had a positive impact on the tournament as a whole. This will be a weekly tournament that Eggy will be putting on and I casted with him, created the overlays and produced the stream for him while he ran the tournament.

Format

We started with 64 players on the NA Server in a SWISS style B01 series and after 6 rounds of play the 64 players got cut down to the top 16. The top 16 played BO3’s where the players were whittled down to the finals where a BO5 was played. We streamed and casted the entire tournament and showed both players hands, in game, from the round of 4 through the finals!

Prizes

• 1st $20 + qualify into the Golden Eggy Main EVENT
• 2nd $5
• 3rd Personal Thumbs Up from me

Results

After 6 rounds of SWISS play the top 16 played BO3’s and the players were whittled down to the finals where DKMR Hosty Played Mana Grind LuigEzz’s in a BO5.
