Anub’Rekhan is the first boss of the Arachnid Quarter is Anub’Rekhan, his hero power creates a 3/1 Nerubian for 2 mana which floods the board pretty quickly. In order to recover clear as well as high health taunts will have to be plentiful. Below is a recommended deck that others have used to defeat this boss, try it out!
7824 Heroic Difficulty Strategy

  • His hero power has been buffed to summon a 4/4 Nerubian instead of 3/1.
  • Using taunts and board clear to minimize the damage going to you as much as possible, preserve your life total whenever you can.

grandwidowfaerlina Grand Widow Faerlina is the second boss of the first wing in Naxxaramas, her hero power is an arcane missiles like spell dealing 1 damage per each card in your hand, so playing a deck with low mana/easy to play cards is key.
faerlinahero Heroic Difficulty Strategy

  • Play a rush deck that have low cost minions.
  • Make sure to use your mana efficiently to play as many cards as possible to keep your hand size low.
  • High health taunts are a good extra target for missiles as well as her minions.

maexxana Maexxna is the final boss of the Arachnid Quarter, her hero power returns a random enemy minion back to their hand for 3 mana which makes controlling the board extremely difficult. This mechanic gives minions with charge/battlecrys a lot more value, as well as spells.
maexhero Heroic Difficulty Strategy

  • Her hero power has changed to return 2 enemy minions back to the hand, it costs 0 mana and MUST be used at the start of her turn.
  • Healing is critical as you must kill Maexxna using spells, charges or battlecrys, so delay with heals until you have enough mana to burst using your combos.
